About CAFPRS

Members of the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (CAFPRS) are devoted and highly specialized surgeons treating cosmetic and plastic surgical patients. Members of CAFPRS took part in a North American survey of Facial Plastic Surgeons and, on average, each performed 735 facial cosmetic and reconstructive procedures in 2002.The most popular cosmetic surgical procedures were blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) and rhinoplasty (nose surgery).

The most common nonsurgical procedures were Botox injections, micro- dermabrasion, chemical peels and facial fillers for lip enhancement. CAFPRS members also perform a wide range of facial plastic procedures including but not limited to facelifts, forehead lifts and laser surgery. More details about these procedures are available on this website or by linking to a facial plastic surgeon in your area.

The Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery is an international non-profit medical society incorporated under the federal laws of Canada.
