Dr Oakley Smith has a wide experience and a substantial reputation in rhinoplasty.
He graduated from the University of Toronto school of Medicine in 1982. Dr Smith became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Otolaryngology in 1989.
He studied a further year of advanced rhinoplasty techniques in the United States with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
He is certified by both the American board of Otolaryngology and the American board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr Smith is currently the Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Toronto East General Hospital, where he also serves as a director of the Toronto East General Foundation.
He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto where he has for many years taught the medical students and future specialists. He is a frequent contributor to education programs, seminars and conferences.
