Mark Samaha, M.D. is a facial plastic surgeon who is dedicated to quality care in every facet of his practice. His priority is to ensure his patients' vision for esthetic improvement becomes a reality.
His approach emphasizes achieving a natural look by balancing facial proportions to create esthetic harmony.
Dr. Samaha specializes in minimally invasive techniques. His interests include nasal reshaping (rhinoplasty), rejuvenation surgery, such as facelift and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), and forehead surgery, ear reshaping (otoplasty), and chin augmentation. In addition, Botox and skin fillers occupy a prominent place in his practice.
After earning his medical degree with Honors from Queen's University, Dr. Samaha completed his residency training at McGill University, which focused exclusively on surgery of the face, head and neck regions. Following specialty training, Dr. Samaha was accepted to a prestigious fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. This extra-specialized training focused exclusively on Nasal and Facial Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Samaha is double-board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Board of otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is also certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He is a member of several scientific societies, including the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Samaha has been practicing the art of facial plastic surgery since 2001. He constantly remains at the very cutting edge of the science and art of facial plastic surgery. As an associate professor at McGill University, Dr. Samaha regularly teaches medical students, residents, and other physicians. For his various teaching activities, Dr. Samaha has been honored with teaching awards over the years. He is on staff at the McGill University Health Centre and runs a private clinic where he performs his esthetic procedures.
